Faking it

Tue Mar 31, 2009, 8:39 PM
“don’t wear that red lipstick pet, it doesn’t suit you……it makes you look cheap………common……

Cheap common cheap common cheap common………………….what does that actually MEAN?
What is a girl to do?..... if she wants ‘it’ she is cheap and common if she doesn’t want ‘it’ she is frigid…………

Let me tell you a story........

“A small girl recognises that the world finds her charming. She sees that the world recognises her charms. She looks at the evidence of her different charms and looks for their source. As she grows up she traces them to their source and finds a wonderfully unruly creativity, a creative expressive madness between her personal world and the vitality of life itself. She stands up proud of the approval she has received for something that is truly wonderful, that has profound and obvious meaning and that provides a sense of fundamental validity for her existence. This is who I am she declares, this is my body, this is my mind, this is my sensuality and sexuality, this is my appetite for life. But instead of rapturous applause she is greeted with crushing admonishment. Her expressions of emotions are policed for what is suitable, acceptable and desirable. Her body is policed and so she tries constantly to modify it to meet the approved expectations. There is a fundamental contradiction in the way she is treated. On one side she is approved of for her good looks, for a certain way of behaving, she is encouraged to allow those that wish to grasp at her charms and to possess them to submit to their wishes. At the same time when she seeks to possess those charms as her own and to express them as she wishes she experiences universal disapproval”

“Blocking dismissing without regard her sexuality her desire, desire for intimacy escapism experience in the world”

Y'know what's great about reading what someone is saying? It's like a unfiltered look into their mind, much like art and music except more tangible to the common man.
